It’s this time of the year – we all wake up to realize it’s a wonderful life, there’s still hope for the love that doesn’t let you sleep at night. If you can’t get rest and dream of a better future, or at least a surprising summer, then you are definitely at spring mood.
Congrats! You survived another winter! I’m so excited and I really don’t want to hide it! The weather is warm and it seems like a whole lot of opportunities reveal in front of me. I find so many reasons to smile more. Inspiration can be found all around us, if you just take a closer look.
There’s just one thing that still succeeds in ruining my great spring time – allergies. Inevitably, the start of the spring season brings in those awful experience. First, you start sneezing, then scratching and finally seriously coughing. They say, love is in the air, but to me, it’s more like a virus. Well, both are contagious. I’m still about to enjoy the warm weather outside, though. Looking for a way to survive upon my spring allergy, I found three useful natural tips to cope with it and I just can’t keep to myself. So let me share them with you, dear not so perfect housewives!
Spring allergies often arise in case your immune system gets attacked by some noxious tiny particles such as pollen or grass. This whole process results in the form of sneezing. It’s an instinctive reaction of your body, as it intends to defend its sinuses from blood inflammation.
Here are the three solutions I’ve found out to work out just fine:
1. Eat Healthy
Through all my experiments with food choices and the reactions of my body to any of them, I’ve come to a conclusion that is health-changing. Actually, it turned out that I can affect my health problems all by modifying my diet. Amazing, it isn’t it? After I suffered from spring allergies this spring, I tried to avoid any diary products for a week. Then two. It was definitely a life savour. Another smart decision to make is adding some more omega-3 rich foods. You can choose from salmon to mackerel, virgin olive oil, raw almonds, flax seeds. These foods are going to make you feel relieved from the allergy and fuel your body with energy.
2. Honey, I Need You
Adding up healthy natural honey is proved to help decrease the chance of a seasonal allergy. Raw honey is rich in antioxidants and works just as good as a vaccine. It is also believed to alleviate the symptoms of allergy due to the pollen collected by the bees. Thus, the body gets aware of it and develops a natural immune reaction to the pollen in the air. I, personally, add a teaspoon of honey to my morning tea and my fruit snacks during the day to keep my health high.
3. Natural Sinus Rinse
Whenever you feel the allergies are planning to destroy your good mood and you see signs of congestion, it is time for you to make a natural sinus cleansing. You can get NeilMed Sinus Rinse which helps me in the battle of allergies. Otherwise, you can just easily prepare your home version of it. You simply have to mix some salt with a ponch of baking soda in a cup of mineral water. Tilt your head to one side, pour a little of the mix in your nose and start breathing. I guarantee you it’s going to rinse all the pollen and let you breathe undistracted. And don’t worry if you spill the mixture of baking soda and salt on your carpet. It can only help you clean its stains better after that. Ok! I do know you don’t like cleaning. Leave it to the guys who enjoy spring cleaning!
